Refund & Cancellation Policy

How to cancel a ROASSensor plan, what happens to your data when you do, and when you can expect a refund. No retention tricks: cancelling takes two clicks and we don't ask you to email anyone for permission.

01

Overview

This policy explains how to cancel your subscription and when you may be eligible for a refund. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

It applies to plans bought directly from us. If you bought through a reseller or a marketplace, that provider's refund terms apply instead.

02

During the Beta

ROASSensor is currently in closed beta. The Starter plan is free and requires no card, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.

Where a paid or discounted beta plan has been agreed individually, the terms confirmed in writing at the time take precedence over this page.

03

How to Cancel

You can cancel at any time, without contacting support:

  • Open Settings → Billing in your workspace.
  • Choose Cancel plan and confirm.
  • You'll receive an email confirming the cancellation and the date your access ends.

If you'd rather we did it for you, email [email protected] from the address on the account and we'll cancel it and confirm in writing.

04

What Happens After You Cancel

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for; you keep full access until then, and you are not charged again.

After that date the workspace moves to the free Starter plan rather than being deleted, so your history stays available at Starter's limits. Deleting the account outright is a separate action, described on our Data Deletion page.

05

Refund Eligibility

Subscriptions are billed in advance. We will issue a refund where:

  • You were charged after cancelling, or charged twice for the same period.
  • A billing error on our side resulted in the wrong amount being taken.
  • The Service was materially unavailable for a sustained period during the term you paid for, and we were unable to resolve it.
  • You cancel an annual plan within 14 days of the initial purchase and have not used the Service materially in that period.

Outside these cases, fees for the current period are generally non-refundable, but tell us what happened. We would rather look at a request on its merits than hide behind a clause.

06

What We Don't Refund

  • Periods that have already elapsed and been used.
  • Partial or unused time remaining in a monthly billing period after a mid-cycle cancellation.
  • Ad spend, platform fees, or any charge levied by a third party such as Meta, Google, or your payment processor. Those are not ours to refund.
  • Accounts terminated by us for breach of the Terms of Service.
07

How to Request a Refund

Email [email protected] from the address on the account with the subject “Refund request”, and include the invoice number or the date and amount of the charge, plus a short note on what went wrong.

We aim to respond within 5 business days. Nothing in this policy affects any statutory right to a refund you may have under the consumer law of your country.

08

Processing Times

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We submit them within 5 business days of approval; how long the money takes to appear is set by your bank or card issuer, and is typically a further 5–10 business days.

Where the original method is no longer valid, we will agree an alternative with you.

09

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. The version in effect on the date of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.
